Accessible Home - James and Vada Culver
Diagnosed with ALS in early 2023, my father is going to need an accessible home in short order. This space is where I am attempting to gather all the information needed to expedite this effort.
As his ability to speak has been greatly affected, communication is easiest via Vada or Jake.
Floor Plan
A floorplan has not been decided upon, but, along with the VA Accessibility requirements, the following preferences have been expressed:
3 bedrooms
2 baths
2 car garage
The Potential Build Site

The idea would be to build on the west end of the lot, with the intention of splitting the lot into two individual parcels. This lot is now wholly owned by Vada. The portion divided for the new accessible home would be owned by James and Vada Culver.
It is my impression that dividing the lot would make it easier to manage. Please advise on this.
UPDATE: Baughman Co. is being consulted to determine costs, engineering, or platting needs for this option.
